Women helping women.

A group of female employees led a project to refresh the living room, kitchen, dining area, a bathroom and children's playroom at Inasmuch House. The organization is a shelter for women and their children who are fleeing domestic abuse and violence. The organization provides support when these women and children need it most -- As they work hard to rebuild their lives, it is important to provide a warm and peaceful atmosphere to help them through the healing process.

More than 60 volunteers dedicated 240 hours to painting hallways, a classroom and two bright, colorful murals at CHILD'S WAY, a Pediatric Extended Care Center at The Children's Home of Pittsburgh & Lemieux Family Center. The paint colors used in these areas were specifically selected to be soothing for the medically fragile students who attend the center.

In just one day, 300 volunteers brought color and brightness to 10 organizations as part of the United Way's Day of Caring. This work positively impacted more than 1 million individuals.

The on ramp to success.

The on ramp to success.

Joey Logano and Team Penske assisted with completing a project at the On Ramp Resource Center of The Relatives, an organization dedicated to guiding youth in crisis to safety and independence as they make the transition to adulthood. PPG has served as the primary paint supplier for Team Penske’s collision shops and race cars for nearly the last 34 years.

A colorful welcome.

To welcome students and faculty back to school, volunteers gave two classrooms and a new teachers’ lounge fresh coats of paint at Funston Elementary School. They also painted a mural to enhance the gymnasium entrance. The project was completed in partnership with Chicago Cares.

A big improvement.

A big improvement.

More than 25 volunteers, which included numerous members of PPG's senior leadership team, helped to tranform the new home of the Arcade Comedy Theater. Partnering with Pittsburgh Cultural Trust the volunteers added vibrant colors to the space where people can see and learn about stand-up, improv and sketch comedy. The project utilized 155 gallons of paint and 100 volunteer hours to complete.
